I have always worn many hats: as a veteran graphic designer, visual artist, herbalist, mother....to name a few. I received a BFA in Painting in the 70s but found my expression as a fiber artist, joining forces with another weaver to form a production fiber Studio in Albany, NY. in 1975. I understand the importance of a local art community. We became involved in a network of young emerging talent and ideas. Now, I am back to painting....abstract watercolors and mixed media. While raising a family in Massachusetts in the 80s, I started studying Herbal Medicine. After two apprenticeships, I began a practice doing health care consultations and teaching. More recently, I became a Flower Essence Practitioner. In the 90s, I worked hard as a school board member to support visual and performing arts programs in the school district. How can an education be complete without the arts? For that matter, how can the world?

Like a forest park ranger, for the arts, I spend my time building bridges and clearing paths to facilitate easy access and awareness. I am a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts, employed at Lisa Harris Gallery and occasionally make a little stipend posing in repose for the local Seattle artists. I'm involved in so many extra curricular activities my friends some times call me [Max Fisher], but hey, "I guess you've gotta just find something you love to do and then do it [all] for the rest of your life." For me, it's art, art in all it's glorious forms.
